Google will release a Pixel 2 smartphone this year

Google is keeping information to a premium, its typical development cycle suggests a Pixel 2 will go on sale in the fourth quarter . The current Pixel launched in October 2016 and Google has held launch events at around the same time for Nexus phones in the past. Google 's head of hardware Rick Osterloh talked about the Pixel and its future. The former Motorola exec revealed that Google has some sort of problem with Pixel and Pixel XL manufacturing right now. There are too few devices to meet demand, and some kind of supply bottleneck preventing the company it from fixing it. It's unclear what exactly is causing these manufacturing issues. OnePlus 5 features leaked: Dual-edge curved display with glass body and 23MP camera

New details coming from a Korean website have now shed some light on OnePlus upcoming flagship. Chinese handset-maker OnePlus may skip the 'OnePlus 4' name and release a new 'OnePlus 5'. Our best guess regarding this move is because the Chinese consider the number '4' to be unlucky. Leaked specifications indicate that the new OnePlus 5 will come with a dual-edged display similar to Samsung's Galaxy S7 edge . As per a report on Koreanportal , the smartphone will also have a 23-megapixel camera along with 6GB and 8GB RAM variant options. The new BlackBerry has a physical keyboard and will arrive in April

The new BlackBerry KEYone smartphone, unveiled Saturday, is the first smartphone to carry the brand that doesn't come from BlackBerry . It will go on sale globally in April , said Nicolas Zibell , CEO of TCL Communication , the phone's manufacturer and license of the brand, at a launch event in Barcelona on the eve of Mobile World Congress . Like the Blackberries of old, the KEYone has a physical keyboard with raised keys . A neat twist is that it also acts as a touchpad of sorts, and each letter can be used as a shortcut, with a short or long key press, for 52 shortcuts in all. MWC 2017  has even officially kicked off yet, and we’ve already seen some killer new devices launch at the trade show. Lenovo  has just taken the wraps off two new budget-friendly smartphones, the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus . While they may not look as high end as the Moto Z lineup, both devices feature a premium aesthetic that rival other devices in this price range. Nokia is back! HMD -ran Nokia brand is making a big showing at MWC 2017 . In addition to the retro reboot Nokia 3310 , HMD Global is also showing off the new Nokia 3  and Nokia 5 , as well as globally launching the Nokia 6 . Nokia 6  The Nokia 6 first arrived to China exclusively earlier this year, but now Nokia has announced plans to make this model available globally. As a refresher, the Nokia 6 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass , Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor , 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The official unveil of the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus seems a simple formality, as the Chinese company already shared important information about these flagships with the world. LG G6 Smartphone Getting Side-by-Side FullVision Display

The 5.7-inch quad-HD smartphone screen on the LG G6 will let users view videos in one half while using a web browser in the other half. LG's upcoming G6 smartphone will feature a new Full Vision display design that will let users watch videos while also perusing content with a web browser at the same time using different sections of its 5.7-inch quad-HD screen. The new Full Vision display will have a 2,880 x 1,440 screen resolution, an 18:9 aspect ratio and an edge-to-edge display that essentially fills the front of the smartphone, according to a Feb. 16 announcement by LG. Report: Xiaomi wants to expand its product portfolio in 2017

According to a new report,  It looks like 2017 could be a big year for Xiaomi - the company could be set to expand its portfolio of devices in an effort to keep up with the competition in its homeland China . Xiaomi is looking to beef up its phone portfolio by adding more mid-tier and high-end models this year. The report says that Chinese manufacturers like Vivo and Oppo are putting pressure on Xiaomi because of their broad range of handsets that are released within the country each year. The news isn’t surprising, but it is interesting.
