The new BlackBerry KEYone smartphone, unveiled Saturday, is the first smartphone to carry the brand that doesn't come from BlackBerry . It will go on sale globally in April , said Nicolas Zibell , CEO of TCL Communication , the phone's manufacturer and license of the brand, at a launch event in Barcelona on the eve of Mobile World Congress . LG's upcoming G6 smartphone will feature a new Full Vision display design that will let users watch videos while also perusing content with a web browser at the same time using different sections of its 5.7-inch quad-HD screen. The new Full Vision display will have a 2,880 x 1,440 screen resolution, an 18:9 aspect ratio and an edge-to-edge display that essentially fills the front of the smartphone, according to a Feb. 16 announcement by LG.
