Lenovo launches e-SIM laptops to keep business travelers connected internationally

At the 2017 Mobile World Congress(MWC) in Barcelona , Lenovo announced the Connect e-SIM enhancement, which could help international business travelers stay connected without swapping SIM cards or paying for expensive roaming plans. "Lenovo Connect gives users a seamless connection and local wireless pricing even when they are abroad by taking advantage of local Telco contract for data," a Lenovo press release said. " Users can even share the same plan across devices when those devices are enabled with Lenovo Connect . " Windows laptops with 4G LTE connectivity have been available for quite some time, but the process for staying connected internationally can be clunky and frustrating. The new BlackBerry has a physical keyboard and will arrive in April

The new BlackBerry KEYone smartphone, unveiled Saturday, is the first smartphone to carry the brand that doesn't come from BlackBerry . It will go on sale globally in April , said Nicolas Zibell , CEO of TCL Communication , the phone's manufacturer and license of the brand, at a launch event in Barcelona on the eve of Mobile World Congress . Like the Blackberries of old, the KEYone has a physical keyboard with raised keys . A neat twist is that it also acts as a touchpad of sorts, and each letter can be used as a shortcut, with a short or long key press, for 52 shortcuts in all. Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus officially announced at MWC 2017

MWC 2017  has even officially kicked off yet, and we’ve already seen some killer new devices launch at the trade show. Lenovo  has just taken the wraps off two new budget-friendly smartphones, the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus . The Moto G5 and G5 Plus  look basically the same, save for the Moto G5's slightly smaller chassis. While they may not look as high end as the Moto Z lineup, both devices feature a premium aesthetic that rival other devices in this price range. Both devices have metal finishes , which is a nice step up from their plasticky-feeling predecessors. You’ll also notice the large circular camera sensors on the back, which resemble the ones on the Moto Z. Nokia 6 goes global, Nokia 5 and 3 also announced

Nokia is back! HMD -ran Nokia brand is making a big showing at MWC 2017 . In addition to the retro reboot Nokia 3310 , HMD Global is also showing off the new Nokia 3  and Nokia 5 , as well as globally launching the Nokia 6 . Nokia 6  The Nokia 6 first arrived to China exclusively earlier this year, but now Nokia has announced plans to make this model available globally. As a refresher, the Nokia 6 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass , Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor , 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. It features a 16 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera , and provides dual amplifiers that HMD Global says will "deliver a 6 dB louder sound than a regular amp."  The handset also supports Dolby Atmos — designed to give audio a more 3D sound effect . LG G6 Smartphone Getting Side-by-Side FullVision Display

The 5.7-inch quad-HD smartphone screen on the LG G6 will let users view videos in one half while using a web browser in the other half. LG's upcoming G6 smartphone will feature a new Full Vision display design that will let users watch videos while also perusing content with a web browser at the same time using different sections of its 5.7-inch quad-HD screen. The new Full Vision display will have a 2,880 x 1,440 screen resolution, an 18:9 aspect ratio and an edge-to-edge display that essentially fills the front of the smartphone, according to a Feb. 16 announcement by LG. The dual-use screen capabilities are aimed at giving users more flexibility to consume mobile content on their devices.
