Microsoft announced at its 2016 WinHEC conference that Windows 10 will run on ARM processors by breaking Intel's bolt on the platform. While Qualcomm will do the same but there is quite possibility that Snapdragon 835 could support Windows Holographic for Virtual Reality headsets. This isn't the smartphone-focused Windows 10 Mobile or the severely limited Windows RT , either, but the same version of Windows 10 that runs on PCs.   Not only will Windows 10 run on ARM processors, but full desktop apps like Office 2016 and Adobe Photoshop will run on them as well. In a big push for Prime Minister Narendra Modi 's "Skill India" initiative, Microsoft 's Indian-born CEO Satya Nadella on Wednesday launched "Project Sangam" to help the government, not only train but also help people get jobs via professional networking website LinkedIn that was acquired by the company last year. Microsoft' s FutureDecoded 2017 is being held in Mumbai on February 21 and 22 . Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella took the stage in Mumbai and announced a new version of Skype at the Future Decoded conference. This new version of Skype which has been dubbed Skype Lite has been specifically made for India and Microsoft's primary target audience are people who use low or mid range Android smartphones instead of users with high-end iOS and Android smartphones. In the words of Microsoft's Eugene Ho ,  " It is a new version of Skype made for India , developed by the development centre Microsoft has in Hyderabad . " Skype Lite at launch will only be available in India for Android smartphones. Going forward, Microsoft has plans to release the app for iOS and Windows and it will access the response towards the app and accordingly release the app in other markets . Microsoft this month reaffirmed that it will issue two Windows 10 upgrades this year, twice the number of 2016 but still shy of the firm's original target. In a presentation 11 days ago at a Microsoft technical conference held in Australia , Bill Karagounis, a director of program management, pointed to a follow-on upgrade that will appear sometime after the Creators Update , which is expected to finalize and ship next month . A slide Karagounis showed during the session -- which was webcast from Microsoft's Channel 9 website included another upgrade this year after Creators as you can see it in below image. It lacked a release date and a more descriptive name other than "Second Update in 2017" . The timeline doesn’t include dates, but it does show that work on the second update should already be well under way, and public testing should start shortly after the release of Windows 10 Creators Update .
