Nokia 3310 expected to release in India in April 2017, priced under Rs 4000

Nokia 3310 will be released globally at a retail price of €49, approximately Rs 4000. Nokia has confirmed to roll out the handset to India along with other Asia-Pacific, Middle East, African and European markets in Q2 2017.
Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 stands out special in more ways than just one. MWC 2017 witnessed coming back of the iconic brand 'Nokia' once again to the market, delivering Android smartphones for its fans. Nokia, presently licensed by HMD Global, launched three smartphones – a special edition Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 on Sunday. However, that is not it. Amidst, a choir group singing the Nokia melody, the company rebooted its one of the most iconic and invincible phone of all times, the Nokia 3310.
Nokia 3310 comes in a modern avatar to suit the modern times. The 'modern classic reborn' feature phone is as tough and durable as the last time you heard about it. It can offer a 22 hours of talktime and a month of standby time.
At the showcase event, Nokia introduced the device as it sport a 2.4 inch color display, a 2 megapixel camera on the rear panel with LED flash, Bluetooth connectivity and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Interestingly, the 'iconic' Nokia phone is not back alone, it has also got popular Snakes game on board, accompanied with nostalgic Nokia tone.
Bringing back the popular Snake game, the company said, "The world-renowned game Snake will be snaking its way back into people's hearts with a new version available to play on Messenger, part of Facebook's Instant Games cross platform experience."
The Nokia 3310 will be available globally in four distinctive colorsWarm Red and Yellow, both with a gloss finish, and Dark Blue and Grey both with a matte finish. According to a media release by HMD Global, all Nokia phones launched at MWC 2017 would be available in to variants-  Single SIM and Dual SIM variant. Nokia 3310 offers 2G connectivity, has inbuilt FM Radio and MP3 player. It  has 16 MB storage on board and offers an expandable storage up to 32GB via Micro SD card slot.
And according to HMD, you should be good for quite some time of music playback up to 51 hours, to be exact. The removable 1200 mAh battery on the 3310 is also rated for up to 31 days of stand-by, 22 hours of talking and 39 hours of FM radio fun.
Speaking of which, the 3310 is a feature phone and runs on the Nokia Series 30+ OS. HMD has also styled the UI with some throwbacks to the original. You do get an Opera browser out of the box, but you will have to limit your browsing to 2G speeds, since GSM 900/1800 MHz is all the 3310 supports No Wi-Fi.
While addressing Nokia fans, Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global said, "For the Nokia 3310 we just couldn't resist. We wanted to reward loyal Nokia phone fans and make a statement that rich heritage, innovation and modern design can go hand-in-hand. Fundamentally, it is about making sure that right across our portfolio we are delivering this pure Nokia experience."

Nokia 6 goes global, Nokia 5 and 3 also announced

Nokia is back! HMD -ran Nokia brand is making a big showing at MWC 2017 . In addition to the retro reboot Nokia 3310 , HMD Global is also showing off the new Nokia 3  and Nokia 5 , as well as globally launching the Nokia 6 . Nokia 6  The Nokia 6 first arrived to China exclusively earlier this year, but now Nokia has announced plans to make this model available globally. As a refresher, the Nokia 6 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass , Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor , 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. It features a 16 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera , and provides dual amplifiers that HMD Global says will "deliver a 6 dB louder sound than a regular amp."  The handset also supports Dolby Atmos — designed to give audio a more 3D sound effect . Jeff Bezos plans to set up Amazon-like moon delivery for 'future human settlement'

Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos ' Blue Origin space venture has reportedly proposed sending a robotic lander to the moon's south polar region by 2020 , as an initial step toward an "Amazon-like" lunar delivery system and eventually a permanently inhabited moon base. As described by the Blue Origin 's white paper, the proposal seeks NASA 's support for sending a "Blue Moon" lander to Shackleton Crater near the moon's south pole. The lander would be designed to carry up to 10,000 pounds of payload . It could be launched by Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket , which is currently under development, or by other vehicles including NASA's Space Launch System or United Launch Alliance 's Atlas 5 .
