LG V30 to sport Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM: Report

LG will be unveiling a new smartphone at MWC this year and the company has been teasing the G6 for quite some time now. However, reports about the LG V30 have already started to surface on the web.
If the half baked rumors and reports are to believed, the LG V30 will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 6GB RAM. LG G6 on the other hand will run on Snapdragon 821 processor, because Samsung has the rights on the initial supply of the latest SD 835 with its flagship Galaxy S8.
Few online reports also suggest that the upcoming V30 will not incorporate the secondary screen this time around. It will feature an upgraded Quad-DAC compared to its predecessor. The V30 will reportedly boast a dual camera setup on both rear and front panel.
To recall, the LG V20 came with a 5.7-inch display with 513ppi and 64GB of internal storage. It has 4GB of RAM and is fuelled by a 3200mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0. It features a secondary display and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. The device packs a dual camera setup on the back with a 16MP and 8MP camera sensors, while there is a 5MP front facing camera also on board. Additionally, it has HD Audio Recorder with Hi-Fi and supports 24 bit/192kHz FLAC.
No new information on the release date of the V30 smartphone, but it’s safe to assume the device will likely to be announced later this year. The price is still unknown. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the launch of the V30 sometime before the holiday season.  LG announced the V20 smartphone towards the end of 2016, so a sequel won’t arrive before the end of 2017.
